Literature Text
Fall was born
Dressed in golden colours
She became independent
Nourished by the cold glow of the sun
Losing her leaves as well as her soul.
She was not welcomed
Shunned out behind closed windows
Embraced those who came to her
Losing her leaves as well as her soul.
Golden, red and withered leaves
Stole the last defiant green from her eyes
Dancing alone, whirling leaves for her dress
Caressed by the frozen hands of King Winter
She lost her leaves as well as her soul.
Dressed in golden colours
She became independent
Nourished by the cold glow of the sun
Losing her leaves as well as her soul.
She was not welcomed
Shunned out behind closed windows
Embraced those who came to her
Losing her leaves as well as her soul.
Golden, red and withered leaves
Stole the last defiant green from her eyes
Dancing alone, whirling leaves for her dress
Caressed by the frozen hands of King Winter
She lost her leaves as well as her soul.

This little poem is inspired by an old, Danish poem I wrote in 2003. I have translated some parts, and adapted the parts that could not be translated to give it proper flow in English. I hope you like it as much as I do Criticism, critique and comments are always welcomed as it helps me to evolve and get better!

This is really beautiful...at the moment I can't think of anything critical to say! Great imagery and flow *w*
